What $50 does not buy

  • It does not move you up the results. The featured block sits above them. Your position inside the list is unchanged, and you stay in that list where anyone can check.
  • It does not move anyone else down. Nothing here is for sale that touches another business.
  • It is not a recommendation. The block is labelled as paid, because you should not be able to buy our opinion.
  • It does not promise you calls. We do not know how many you will get and we will not pretend to.

  • The top block on your city page

    Above every result, in its own bordered block, marked Featured. Your name, category, address, phone number and directions, the same details your free listing carries.

  • One line in your own words

    Up to 120 characters of your choosing, which is the only copy any business controls on this site. It cannot claim stock, make a medical claim, or compare you to other listings: those rules apply to us too and paying does not lift them.

  • Exclusivity in that city

    One featured business per city. Not a row of four, which is a second results list and worth less to every business in it.

  • The same free listing underneath

    Your ordinary listing does not change, move, or disappear while you are featured, and it carries on unchanged when you stop.

Where it appears

CrutchDirectory covers 172,579 registered suppliers across 12,834 US cities and towns, built from the federal NPI registry and CMS Medicare billing records. City pages are the pages people land on when they search for somewhere nearby that sells crutches, and the featured block is the first thing on them.

We are deliberately not quoting visitor numbers here. The site is new and its pages are still being indexed, so any figure we printed today would be out of date or flattering. Ask for your city and we will send the real one.

Nothing is charged from this form and it does not commit you to anything. We check the city is free, send you what that page actually receives, and only then send a payment link. If the city is already taken we will say so rather than sell you a second slot.

Questions businesses ask

Does this move me up the search results?
No, and it cannot. The featured block sits above the results list, not inside it. The code that orders the results cannot read anything commercial, and a build check fails if it ever does. Your listing also stays in the results below in the position it earned, so anyone can scroll down and see exactly where you rank without paying.
Can I pay to have a competitor moved down or removed?
No. Nothing on this site is for sale that affects another business. Removal is free and only ever on request from the business itself.
What happens if I stop paying?
The featured block comes off at the end of the period you paid for and your ordinary listing carries on exactly as before, free, in the same position. Being featured and then stopping leaves you no worse off than never having started.
How much traffic will I get?
We will not guess, and you should not trust anyone who does. This directory launched recently and its pages are still being indexed. Ask us for your own city page before you pay and we will send what it actually received in the last 30 days, whatever the number is. If it is small we would rather you knew.
Is this an endorsement or a recommendation?
No. A featured block is advertising and is labelled as advertising. It says nothing about quality, and the site never claims a listed business has anything in stock.
Why a flat monthly fee instead of paying per lead?
Because every business here is enrolled with Medicare, and a directory paid a share of the business it sends you has a reason to steer patients. A flat fee that never changes with the calls or sales it produces removes that reason. It is the right structure for this industry and we will not offer the other one.

Featured placements are advertising and are labelled as advertising wherever they appear. They do not affect which businesses are listed or how the results are ordered: the full methodology is public, including the ranking rule and the check that enforces it.
