Reporting a listing problem
Include whatever you have. These four things make a fix immediate:
- The page URL the listing appears on
- The business name and the NPI number shown on the listing
- What is wrong: closed, moved, wrong phone, wrong category, duplicate
- The correct detail, if you know it
If you own a listed business
Two routes, and the first is better:
- Correct it at the source. Update your record in the NPPES system at nppes.cms.hhs.gov. That fixes your details everywhere that uses the federal registry, not just here, and our next rebuild picks it up automatically.
- Email us and we will correct or remove the listing directly. There is no charge for this, and there is no charge to be listed in the first place. If anyone contacts you claiming otherwise on our behalf, it is not us.
Removal requests
We will remove any business on request from an owner or authorised representative, no justification needed. Send the business name, NPI, and a way to confirm you are connected to it. Note that removal here does not affect the underlying public federal record.
What we cannot help with
- Medical questions. We are not clinicians. Ask your doctor or physical therapist.
- Individual Medicare claims. Call 1-800-MEDICARE or see medicare.gov.
- Orders and returns. We do not sell crutches. Contact the retailer you bought from.
